DISCLAIMER

Website, product, fitment, installation, safety, and legal-use disclaimer for OFFRAMP motorcycle parts and accessories.

IMPORTANT RIDER NOTICE

Motorcycle customization involves real mechanical, safety, and legal risks. Before purchasing, installing, modifying, or using any OFFRAMP product, read this Disclaimer together with our Terms of Service, Return Policy, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and any product-specific notes or installation instructions.

If you are unsure about fitment, installation, emissions compliance, road legality, or safe use, stop and consult a qualified motorcycle technician, professional custom shop, or the relevant local authority before riding.

1. Scope of This Disclaimer

This Disclaimer applies to the OFFRAMP website, online store, product pages, technical information, installation-related content, images, videos, customer support communications, showroom/custom-shop related descriptions, and all motorcycle parts, accessories, kits, components, and services made available through this website.

By accessing this website, purchasing from OFFRAMP, installing a product, or using any information provided by OFFRAMP, you acknowledge and agree that motorcycle parts may affect handling, braking, lighting, controls, engine performance, emissions, noise output, rider comfort, and overall vehicle safety.

This Disclaimer is intended to supplement, not replace, our Terms of Service and other applicable policies. If there is any conflict, the Terms of Service and any product-specific written terms will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2. Motorcycle Modification Risk

Motorcycles are inherently dangerous vehicles. Customizing, repairing, replacing, tuning, or modifying any part of a motorcycle may increase the risk of property damage, loss of control, crash, serious injury, or death.

OFFRAMP products may be intended for custom motorcycles, modified Harley-Davidson style builds, V-Twin platforms, performance applications, or specialty installation environments. Some products may require mechanical experience, fabrication skill, specific tools, torque procedures, electrical knowledge, welding, drilling, cutting, tuning, or professional setup.

You accept all risks arising from product selection, installation, adjustment, modification, maintenance, inspection, road testing, riding, racing, resale, or any other use of products purchased from OFFRAMP.

3. No Mechanical, Legal, or Compliance Advice

Information on this website is provided for general product, fitment, and customer-service purposes only. It should not be treated as professional mechanical advice, engineering advice, legal advice, emissions-compliance advice, insurance advice, or roadworthiness certification.

Customer support, fitment guidance, installation tips, blog articles, videos, product photos, or showroom/custom-shop content may help you understand a product, but they do not replace inspection by a qualified professional or compliance review under your local laws.

You are responsible for deciding whether a product is suitable, safe, lawful, and properly installed on your motorcycle.

4. Fitment and Compatibility Disclaimer

OFFRAMP makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate fitment information, model-year references, product dimensions, specifications, and compatibility notes. However, fitment information may be based on manufacturer data, supplier data, direct test fitting, historical model knowledge, customer feedback, or industry references, and may not account for every motorcycle configuration.

Fitment can be affected by prior modifications, aftermarket frames, custom tanks, fairings, handlebars, risers, saddlebags, exhaust systems, suspension changes, engine swaps, control relocation, wiring changes, crash damage, regional model differences, production-year changes, dealer-installed options, or previous repairs.

Universal, custom, fabrication-required, or race-use parts are not guaranteed to be direct bolt-on replacements. These products may require adjustment, trimming, drilling, spacing, bracket fabrication, wiring, tuning, paintwork, powder coating, or other custom work.

Before final installation, test-fit the product carefully and confirm clearance, alignment, fastener engagement, cable routing, brake-line routing, throttle return, steering lock-to-lock movement, suspension travel, heat exposure, electrical function, and rider control movement. Do not ride until all safety checks are complete.

5. Professional Installation Required

Unless expressly stated otherwise in a product listing, OFFRAMP strongly recommends professional installation by a qualified motorcycle mechanic or experienced custom shop. Certain products should only be installed by trained professionals.

Improper installation, incorrect torque, thread damage, poor wiring, fuel leaks, brake-line interference, throttle-binding, control misalignment, loose fasteners, incorrect tuning, or inadequate clearance can cause equipment failure, fire, crash, injury, or death.

The purchaser, installer, and rider are responsible for following all installation instructions, using proper tools, verifying compatibility, applying correct torque values, using appropriate threadlocker or locking hardware where required, and performing pre-ride and post-installation inspections.

6. Road Use, Emissions, Noise, and Competition-Use Parts

Motor vehicle laws, motorcycle equipment rules, emissions regulations, noise limits, lighting requirements, inspection rules, and road-use standards vary by country, state, province, city, and jurisdiction. A product that can be purchased online may not be legal to install, sell, import, register, inspect, or use on public roads in your area.

Products that affect exhaust systems, catalytic converters, air intake, fuel management, engine control, sensors, emissions equipment, noise output, or engine calibration may be restricted or prohibited for street use in certain jurisdictions. Some products are intended for closed-course competition, show, display, off-road, or custom-build use only and must not be used on public roads unless lawful in the applicable jurisdiction.

You are solely responsible for confirming whether any part is legal for your intended use before purchase, installation, import, resale, or operation. OFFRAMP cannot verify how each customer will use a product and is not responsible for unlawful installation, emissions tampering, noise violations, failed inspections, vehicle registration issues, insurance issues, fines, penalties, or enforcement actions resulting from product use.

7. Customer Responsibility and Assumption of Risk

By purchasing, installing, modifying, or using OFFRAMP products, you acknowledge that you understand the risks associated with motorcycle parts and customization and voluntarily assume those risks to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for inspecting products before installation and before each ride when appropriate. Do not use any product that appears damaged, defective, incomplete, improperly installed, loose, misaligned, cracked, leaking, overheated, corroded, or unsafe.

If a product affects controls, braking, steering, suspension, drivetrain, fuel system, electrical system, lighting, exhaust, frame, or rider position, you must verify safe operation in a controlled environment before normal road use.

8. Product Alteration, Finishing, and Custom Work

Cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, bending, powder coating, painting, polishing, plating, heat wrapping, modifying, disassembling, or otherwise altering a product may affect strength, finish, corrosion resistance, fitment, warranty coverage, return eligibility, and safety.

Products that have been installed, test-fitted in a damaging way, modified, scratched, drilled, powder coated, painted, wired, tuned, contaminated with fuel or oil, heat-cycled, or otherwise used may not be eligible for return, exchange, or warranty support except as required by applicable law or expressly stated in a written OFFRAMP policy.

Any custom work performed by the purchaser, third-party shop, installer, dealer, or end user is performed at that party’s own risk.

9. Product Information, Images, and Availability

OFFRAMP works to keep product descriptions, images, specifications, prices, stock status, fitment notes, installation references, and promotional information accurate and current. However, errors, omissions, supplier changes, design updates, finish variation, photography differences, monitor color differences, packaging changes, and typographical mistakes may occur.

Images may show sample vehicles, prototype parts, older revisions, optional accessories, related products, installed examples, or custom builds that are not included with the product unless expressly stated. Finishes such as raw metal, black, chrome, polished, anodized, painted, or powder-coated surfaces may vary in shade, texture, weld appearance, machining marks, or production detail.

OFFRAMP may correct errors, update product information, change pricing, revise specifications, discontinue products, substitute equivalent components, or cancel orders affected by obvious errors or availability problems as described in our Terms of Service.

10. No Guarantee of Performance Results

Performance claims, riding impressions, weight savings, sound descriptions, clearance improvements, comfort improvements, handling changes, airflow statements, or styling comments are general in nature unless a specific written guarantee is provided.

Actual results depend on motorcycle condition, engine configuration, tuning, fuel quality, installation quality, rider weight, riding style, tire condition, suspension setup, local climate, altitude, maintenance history, and other variables. OFFRAMP does not guarantee horsepower gains, torque gains, sound level, fuel economy, ride quality, comfort, handling improvement, or any specific performance outcome unless expressly stated in writing.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

Except as expressly stated in a written OFFRAMP warranty, return policy, or product-specific warranty notice, products and website information are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

OFFRAMP disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, durability, and suitability for street use, race use, emissions compliance, inspection approval, or any specific motorcycle build.

Warranty coverage, if any, may be void or limited by improper installation, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, racing, stunt riding, off-road use, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repair, product alteration, normal wear, cosmetic wear, corrosion, heat damage, incorrect application, or use contrary to instructions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OFFRAMP and its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages arising from product selection, purchase, installation, modification, use, misuse, inability to use, or reliance on website information.

This includes, without limitation, vehicle damage, property damage, personal injury, death, loss of use, lost profits, lost revenue, towing charges, labor charges, installation costs, diagnostic costs, tuning costs, storage charges, shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, inspection failure, registration issues, insurance denial, penalties, fines, or third-party claims, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OFFRAMP and its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, affiliates, and partners from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your breach of this Disclaimer, misuse of products, improper installation, unlawful use, resale, modification, or violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Dealers, Resellers, Custom Shops, and Installers

Dealers, resellers, workshops, custom shops, builders, installers, and professional users are responsible for independently verifying product suitability, compliance, fitment, installation quality, customer disclosures, road legality, emissions status, and end-user safety.

OFFRAMP technical information is not a substitute for a professional shop’s own inspection, fabrication judgment, quality-control process, or compliance review. If you install or resell OFFRAMP products for another person, you are responsible for making all necessary warnings, disclosures, and safety checks for that customer.

15. International Orders and Local Restrictions

OFFRAMP may serve customers in multiple countries and regions. International purchasers are responsible for confirming import eligibility, customs rules, taxes, duties, brokerage charges, local road-use laws, product restrictions, emissions rules, noise regulations, and inspection requirements before ordering.

OFFRAMP is not responsible for seizure, delay, refusal, storage fees, destruction, re-export, customs penalties, or non-delivery caused by local import restrictions, inaccurate customer information, unpaid duties, or regulatory issues outside our control.

16. Third-Party Brands, Trademarks, and Vehicle References

All third-party brand names, model names, logos, trademarks, and vehicle references are used for identification, compatibility, and descriptive purposes only. Harley-Davidson, Harley, H-D, Sportster, Softail, Dyna, Touring, Road King, Street Glide, Road Glide, Electra Glide, Fat Boy, and other related names or marks are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.

OFFRAMP is an independent aftermarket parts brand and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Harley-Davidson Motor Company or any other third-party manufacturer unless expressly stated in writing.

17. Third-Party Links, Content, and Services

The website may contain links, embedded content, tools, payment services, shipping services, reviews, social media content, or references provided by third parties. OFFRAMP does not control third-party websites or services and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, policies, availability, security, or performance.

Your use of third-party services is subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

18. Updates to This Disclaimer

OFFRAMP may update this Disclaimer at any time by posting a revised version on this website. The updated version will apply once posted unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of the website or purchase of products after updates are posted means you accept the updated Disclaimer.
